Poland: Kraków

The second biggest city in Poland with one of the most beautiful districts, Kazimierz.
Kraków used to be my home for the whole three years, so I keep coming back fairly frequently for short trips, and there are some cozy places you cannot miss when visiting.

Kraków for the weekend

  • Swedish buns: Kaffe Bageri Stockholm (three locations in Kraków, vegan options). A perfect place to start your day with. Their buns are the tastiest and always fresh. Never left disappointed! Many kinds of plant-based milk to choose from.

  • The coffee place: Body Espresso Bar (ul. Dolnych Młynów 3/1, 31-124 Kraków; vegan options). My favorite coffee in Kraków. You can treat yourself to a single shot of espresso or be brave & try one of their special recommendations (last time, I had halva coffee with oat milk - and wow, 10/10).

  • Top-quality Vietnamese food: Wiệtnam (ul. Kazimierza Brodzinskiego 2, 33-332 Kraków, vegan options). It is hard to find authentic, vegan, full of flavor pho soup in Poland - and their pho is exactly that & more. So, so good!

  • Close to Stary Kleparz: Mandu & Oriental Spoon (ul. Ignacego Paderewskiego, 31-157 Kraków, vegan options). Mandu serves the most delicious dumplings (my favorite filling: curry oyster mushrooms with courgette). At Oriental Spoon, you can order bibimbap - and they have the best spicy gochujang sauce ever!

  • Simple, but filling breakfast: Hummus Amamamusi (ul. Beera Meiselsa 4, 31-063 Kraków, vegan options). The must-go place in Kraków, if you’re having breakfast outside the hotel. You are not going to leave this place hungry, that’s for sure. The menu is centered around hummus & chickpeas.
